The Opportunity
"The Sales Support–Analyst/Sr Analyst will join our Global Sales Process Execution team, applying their operational, financial, and analytical expertise to drive key global processes that enable our sales organization and executive leadership team. As a true self starter who is able to quickly grasp new concepts, the Sales Support-Sr Analyst will become an expert on our sales processes, including the Global Deal Desk process which is a highly visible role to executives of the company. Working in a highly collaborative manner, this role will partner with many areas of the Software business, including the Product and Technology organization, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Regional Operations, to optimize sales productivity and effectiveness, while continually refining and improving our processes. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal relationships are a necessity for this role. What You’ll Contribute
Help oversee the Global Deal Desk Process and various other global sales support processes.
Summarize and package complex, multi-million dollar deals to the executive team to help them make educated decisions about the direction of our business.
Ensure solution architecture, pricing and COGS, and financial modeling for sales opportunities are clear and vetted against our policies, to help the executive team limit exposure and maximize revenue.
Learn about our products and pricing strategy to anticipate questions from the leadership team and expedite internal approval of strategic deals.
Partner with multiple, cross-department business stakeholders, as well as internal IT counterparts, to drive the execution of process improvements.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deeply understand business processes and establish business requirements – documenting them in a clear, well-organized, and effective manner.
Discover and launch process improvements as our business grows and changes.
Support, and potentially own, additional processes supported by the Global Sales Execution team including pilot opportunity process management and opportunity routing to our direct/indirect sales organizations.
Cross train on other processes supported by the Global Sales Operations team to provide coverage and support as needed.
Leverage Microsoft PowerPoint to communicate business needs in a clear and visionary way, gaining leadership support and buy-in.
What We’re Seeking
Basic to advanced knowledge of financial concepts including profit, margin, cost of good sold (COGS), and annual recurring revenue (ARR).
Ability to partner with sales teams to structure opportunities and quotes that maximize revenue and minimize risk.
Experience leading process development and improvement for the Sales Quote to Cash lifecycle.
Software industry experience including a basic understanding of Software tenancy (e.g. cloud, on-premise) and Software contracting (e.g. licensing terms, subscriptions, renewals, etc.).
Experience analyzing and presenting data and information to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and inter-personal skills.
Experience leveraging Salesforce to manage opportunities and cases.
Experience working with multiple business units and acting with a sense of urgency.
Must be flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to shifting priorities, while quickly learning and improving global processes.
Proven organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
Skilled in leveraging the Microsoft suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, or related field.
