Brief Role Description

This position is a career level 29P, and is located in Reston, VA with a role classification of Hybrid.

 

The Business Manager is the lead liaison for coordination of board presentations and KPI dashboards.

 

The Business Manager ensures consistency in steering the development and application of best practices, test new ideas/thinking and gain perspective on scalability across the US. Provide guidance by identifying growth opportunities, synergies & threats in order to achieve the Audi long-term performance targets.

 

The Business Manager ensures Audi cross-functional departments are working as ONE team when it comes to high level presentations.

 

The Business Manager takes a holistic approach in steering and fostering cross areas of collaboration between various parts of the organization to develop, align and challenge for continuous improvement of the business areas, including New Vehicle Sales, Distribution & Logistics, Sales incentives planning, Profitability, Marketing, legal and compliance, Customer Experience, Dealer Network Performance and execution of the Audi Strategy as part of Sales/Operations.

 

The Business Manager is ultimately responsible for the strategic tactics and operations that will assist the market in achieving the short-/mid- and long-term KPIs of the Brand, this includes managing projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion within budget.

 

The Business Manager achieves these KPI's by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders (in particular with Finance and Marketing), sharing global best practices, acting entrepreneurial and steering the performance and transformation of the market.

 

The Business Manager provides accurate and insightful market findings and develops business cases as part of Executive level presentations to the AUDI AG board.

Possible Tasks within this Role

The Business Manager comprehensively steers and supports Operations in regards to the entire Operations Business Performance, steers the cross-functional collaboration and alignment of all relevant divisions within the US and HQ organization for business reviews and board presentations. [10%]

 

Steering and following-up quarterly Strategic Reviews with the market to ensure the successful adaptation of the Brand’s Sales Strategy with concrete Objectives and Key Results. [10%]

 

Functional lead of all Audi Operations Presentations and KPI dashboards [30%]

 

Coordinate, align, and track of Market Business KPIs including: [30%]

New Vehicle Sales performance (volume, market share, segment shares, BEV share, CO2 compliance, stock turn, stock level vs. ideal stock, aged stock)

Financial performance (Vehicle margin per car and in million EUR)

Brand perception & positioning (Brand Image and Top-of-volume position)

Funnel performance (Awareness, Consideration, First Choice, Lead & Order Management)

Customer Experience (Customer Satisfaction, Customer Loyalty)

Digital Performance (Car Net Enrollment, App-Rating, Onsite & Offsite Web metrics)

Channel Performance (Retail, Fleet, RAC, Company Cars, Financial Services Penetration)

Dealer Network Transformation (Standard implementation, Digital Retail & New Formats, Profitability, Ideal Network Plan)

 

Deriving, aligning and tracking success of supporting measures in order to achieve Market Business KPIs. [20%]

Qualification requirements

12+ years relevant manufacturing/automotive experience

3-5 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrix-organization
