National Grid is hiring a Senior Program Manager for our New England Electric Contracts and Commercial department in Waltham, MA. This is a hybrid position.
Our Team
The New England Electric Contracts and Commercial team manages, supports and monitors contracts and contractual relationships for outsourced complex and non-complex electric construction contracts for National Grid.
What You'll Do
· Support Contracts & Commercial Director with special projects including planning efficient ways of working for weather events, developing and leading training, vendor performance and data analysis.
· Foster relationships with overhead-line emergency restoration services distribution and transmission and software vendors along with internal stakeholders including but not limited to Construction, Project/Program Management, Procurement, Engineering, Safety and Emergency Planning. This includes management of related contracts.
· Enable the team in prioritizing, troubleshooting and executing process and deliverables.
· Respond to internal and regulatory and related information requests
· Actively support the New England External Line Resource Unit during storm/weather events
About You
· Bachelor’s degree required
· 3+ years of program or project management experience preferred
· 3+ years of experience in contracts, distribution overhead-line construction management, engineering or emergency response within the electric utility industry preferred
· 3+ years of experience effectively leading and communicating with vendors and cross-functional teams preferred
· 3+ years of multi-tasking, analyzing, and resolving blockers preferred
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Power BI, MS Teams, Excel, Power Point, Word, SharePoint; MS Project preferred
· Valid driver’s license required

Salary
$108k - $127k a year
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills. Candidates will be assessed and provided offers against the minimum qualifications of this role and their individual experience.
