If a feature is buggy, don’t release it (if it hasn’t been released yet), fix it or take it out.)</p> <h2><strong>In addition, You will:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You develop and design test frameworks, test tools, and automation for complex, distributed SaaS systems for other STEs, SDETs, and SDEs to use.</li> <li>Develop and design load &amp; performance tools to allow verification of scale for our distributed SaaS systems by STEs, SDETs, SDEs</li> <li>You define and implement metrics to resolve test effectiveness and the overall quality of software.</li> <li>Maintain and monitor tools and services which have significant traffic</li> <li>Partner directly with other engineers as customers to gather requirements and feedback</li> <li>You research, share, recommend, and drive adoption of new technologies, standard methodologies, and trends.</li> <li>You help your team evolve by actively participating in the code review process, design discussions, planning, and post-mortems.</li> <li>You mentor and develop your other team members.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Experienced Required:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field</li> <li>4+ years professional coding experience in a programming language like Java or Python, knowledge of JavaScript, Ruby or Perl are a bonus</li> <li>1+ years professional experience creating test automation frameworks and tools from scratch</li> <li>Proficiency with a broad range of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns; knowing when it is appropriate to use them (and when it is not)</li> <li>Basic knowledge about designing software systems</li> <li>Experience with Service-Oriented Architecture and distributed systems. Experience testing webservices is a plus.
