Software Engineer in Test

We constantly innovate and incorporate cutting-edge technologies to make the lives of our community more enriched.</p> <p>A Test Automation Engineer will be the driving force behind a comprehensive test strategy to complement our test automation. This is a hands-on position with a strong ownership to the delivery of high-quality products. You will own and lead internal testing events, collaborate closely with product feature teams as they develop new products and features, and ensure we wow our customers with quality.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan, design and develop test strategy for all of our products on mobile apps, web and our back-end services. Create test plans and test scenarios through cross-functional collaboration and identify edge cases that could jeopardize the quality of our products</li> <li>Perform test cases and work with engineers to correct and sign off as the quality owner.  You will set the quality standards, monitor and escalate issues</li> <li>Perform exploratory testing and identify test automation opportunities. You will spend approximately half of your time building automation frameworks and improving the existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure</li> <li>Coach and influence engineering culture to be test-driven.  You will conduct presentations, build documentations, and build templates to make it easy to test for engineers, so that you are not the only one having to do it.  You will present to executives on product quality and opportunities to prioritize</li> </ul> <h4>Experience:</h4> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in developing and documenting test plan, test cases and reporting bugs for complex features</li> <li>Strong programming experience with Python, Swift or Kotlin</li> <li>Strong understanding of microservices architecture, testing methodologies for microservice architecture, etc</li> <li>Experience in building automation frameworks and writing reliable and maintainable automated tests</li> <li>Experience with web, mobile or server platforms and have a superb understanding of and ability to troubleshoot the testing ecosystem</li> <li>Track record of improving efficiency, especially through automation</li> <li>Experience in working with other teams such as engineering, product and release teams</li> <li>Passion for learning, especially through looking at new processes and tools that have significant impact on engineering teams</li> <li>Proficient in both spoken and written English</li> </ul>
