General Function: The focus of this position is to provide administrative support to SVCRC direct service programs for our most vulnerable community members.
Principal activities:
- Manage SVCRC front desk duties that include answering and scheduling client calls and appointments for assistance, scheduling appointments with Support Specialists, adding case notes in Extended Reach database when needed.
- Coordinating and assisting with accounting policies and procedures to include but not limited to: sending in POs/receipts for purchases, providing business account invoices from Amazon, Staples in timely manner with accurate coding provided by OD or ED.
- Operate and manage the Free Showers Program, providing warm hand-off connections for participants to Sky Valley CRC Support Specialists and East County Navigator when available.
- Maintain a safe and friendly location for guests. Able to de-escalate hostile or potentially hostile situations to maintain order within the Free Showers Program and other direct services for the safety of all guests.
- Provide hygiene and clothing to clients when needed and available.
- Keep the shower building clean and tidy, scrubbing showers, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out garbage, and other janitorial duties as assigned.
- Inform Operations Director of cleaning supply stock, requesting supplies as needed while staying within budget constraints.
- Work effectively with CRC staff and Navigation to connect clients to further services. Track and maintain client records in Extended Reach and other data collecting tools as needed.
- Track Coordinated Entry referrals aiming for 50% of participants utilizing program.
- Effectively explain CRC programs and resources to clients as needed and provide a warm hand off to CRC staff and/or Navigation where appropriate.
