Our values of Respect, Ownership, Care, and Integrity underpin every interaction we have, whether with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and the communities in which we operate. <br/>Choose to work for Inver and you’ll be joining a fast-growing retail and fuel business with  opportunities to support your next career step.<br/>Amber Petroleum trading as Inver Energy are currently recruiting for a Deli Assistant<br/><br/> The successful candidate must be able to work various shifts including early mornings and evenings.<br/>The ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Deli Assistant and be familiar with all aspects of this type of work and possess a passion for delivering first class customer service.<br/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul> <li>Full HACCP compliance and ensuring safe food handling</li> <li>Maintaining high levels of customer service</li> <li>Continuous improvement of the Deli / Bakery</li> <li>Be enthusiastic with a can-do attitude</li> <li>Have an excellent knowledge of all aspects of food hygiene and HACCP procedures</li> <li>Manage point of sale processes.</li> <li>Active involvement in receiving deliveries.</li> <li>Keeping up to date with product information and new product lines</li> <li>Follow all company procedures &amp; policies</li> <li>Fresh foods preparation: salads, sandwiches, soups, etc. </li> <li>Prepare food neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner</li> <li>Understand and adhere to proper food handling, safety, and sanitization standards </li> <li>Maintain clean, orderly, and properly stocked deli display units, coolers, work areas, storage areas, and public use seating areas </li> <li>Maintain professional and groomed appearance </li> <li>Assist with monthly inventory as needed </li> <li>Perform related duties as assigned by management</li> </ul><br/><br/><h3>Skills, Knowledge and Expertise</h3><ul> <li>Deli Experience</li> <li>HACCP </li> <li>Customer Service  </li> </ul><br/><h3>Benefits</h3><ul> <li>EAP </li> <li>Cycle To Work Scheme</li> <li>Employee Discount App  </li> </ul>
