The Cedarville University School of Nursing invites applications for a Transfer Credit Evaluator. This is a part-time, non-exempt staff position (150 hours annually).
The Transfer Credit Evaluator conducts preliminary evaluations of incoming students’ prior coursework to determine transferability and alignment with institutional requirements. This role ensures consistency with academic policies, supports the Associate Dean of Graduate Nursing Programs, and collaborates with faculty, academic leadership, and Graduate Enrollment staff to promote timely degree completion.
Position Responsibilities:
• Evaluate transcripts and prior coursework for transferability.
• Recommend credit applicability in accordance with academic policies.
• Collaborate with faculty, academic leadership, and Graduate Enrollment staff.
• Support student pathways to ensure timely degree completion.
Position Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Nursing, Education, or related field (Doctorate preferred).
• Experience in academic advising or program planning, ideally in nursing or healthcare education.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of graduate nursing curricula and clinical requirements preferred.
• Qualified applicant must be a born-again Christian with a personal commitment to Jesus Christ.
