Sales Engineer

What puts customers at risk isn’t always what they think.

Mimecast is seeking a Sales Engineer with pre-sales or IT background to the team, supporting our SMB New Business customer segmentation. This person will provide technical advice to Mimecast sales staff, partners, and customers.

What you’ll do:

• Provide technical advice to support sales opportunities, engaging with technical contacts to position Mimecast services effectively.
• Collaborate with sales for qualification and sales strategies.
• Support complex solutions, oversee pre-sales proof-of-concepts, and work closely with the Service Delivery team.

What you’ll bring:

• Effective communication of technical solutions to business-focused customers.
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and adaptable to learning new skills.
• Familiarity with networking, security technologies, and SaaS solutions.
• Experience in consultative selling and indirect sales environment.
