Financial Systems Analyst

Position Description

The Financial Systems Analyst will provide financial and cost analysis support to a variety of ongoing project teams as part of Serco’s highly qualified interdisciplinary team of consultants. The Financial Systems Analyst will be expected to support a wide variety of analytical projects including working for and with a variety of DoD, Federal, and corporate customers. This Full-Time position will interface with customers on a regular basis to develop project requirements, collaborate and work on integrated teams, and to brief, defend, and support project progress and results. Must be comfortable in a challenging, collaborative, multi-tasking, dynamic, high-tempo, deadline-intensive environment.The Financial Systems Analyst will develop cost models, cost estimates and spend plans in support of a wide range of end products. 

 

In this role you will: 

• Develop, present and defend cost estimates through various cost agencies (i.e. Air Force Cost Analysis Agency), in addition to project customers
• Provide objective cost/financial analysis, insight, and recommendations to customers
• Participate in and/or lead collaborative working groups among a variety of government and industry organizations
• Product Support Business Case Analysis (PS-BCA)
• Independent Cost Estimates (ICE)
• Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
• Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)
• Life Cycle Cost Estimates
• Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Analysis
• Cost Analysis Requirements Document (CARD)
• Acquisition Milestone Support

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Active DoD SECRET security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree
• Twelve (12) years of experience conducting cost analysis, financial management, execution, tracking, and program analysis
• Knowledge/Experience using various cost estimating software tools (i.e. ACEIT and Crystal Ball)
• Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst
• Advanced Excel skills
• 10% potential travel

 

Additional desired experience and skills:• Active DoD Top Secret Clearance or ability obtain one• MBA or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Mathematics, Cost Estimating, Operations Research or related discipline• PPBE Experience• DAWIA Certified Financial Management/Contract Management• Certified Defense Financial Manager
