Job Title: Financial Aid Support Staff (Part-time)

Summary of Position: The Financial Aid Support Staff position serves Indiana Wesleyan University’s National & Global Campus and Wesley Seminary student population by assisting the National & Global Campus Financial Aid Office with document management and report generation. Prepares regular communications to send to students. Assists in the confirmation of general eligibility for financial aid and of receipt of financial aid funds.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains the document imaging process
- Prepares regular communications to send to students
- Reviews incoming documents for completeness and accuracy and logs receipt of those documents
- Assists in determining general eligibility for student financial aid (e.g., verifications, financial aid history review)
- Prepares and reviews various reports
- Provides additional support as directed

Education
- High School Diploma
Experience
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
- Demonstrated ability to work with office management software, enterprise software, and various web-based informational systems
Required Skills
- Microsoft Office and other computer software applications experience
- Consistent accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to keep sensitive information secure and private
- Sound problem solving skills and ability to take initiative
