As a Head, Global Manufacturing Practices & Packaging supporting Manufacturing Technical Operations (MTO) Science & Technology, you will be trusted to lead process development efforts across manufacturing sites to align and harmonize processes and practice to drive efficiency and quality for increased business value at Fort Worth, TX (ASPEX).

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Craft and develop new or revised pharmaceutical/biological processes taking into consideration problems inherent in the transfer of technology from research to manufacturing
• Develop procedures for economical mass production in agreement with pilot-plant and production departments
• Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to resolve control over applicable variables
• Service, troubleshoot, and solve production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation
• Prepare and maintain reports to ensure the plant's processes and procedures follow regulations
• Understand compliance, pharmaceutical, pharmacological, biological, biochemical, medical, patent and commercial factors
• Make recommendations concerning the acquisition and use of new technological equipment and materials; develop and advise of new product design or current product upgrades to ensure manufacturability and assembly; support investigations by providing technical reports for use by regulatory agencies/bodies

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +18 yrs.; Assoc.+14 yrs.; M.S.+7 yrs.; PhD+6 yrs.)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 10 Years of Relevant Experience
• 6 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Work hours: M-F Exempt
• Travel Requirements: 25%
