YOUR IMPACT

The ITSM Solution Architect will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing IT Service Management solutions for a huge government organization.

This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization, migrating parts of the company into centralized toolset, defining ITSM strategy

and ensuring the successful integration of ITSM tools and processes.

 

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Design end-to-end ITSM solutions, considering industry best practices and organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements related to IT service delivery.
• Lead the implementation of ITSM tools, configuring and customizing solutions to meet specific organizational needs.
• Provide guidance on ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) best practices and ensure alignment with ITSM processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate ITSM processes into the overall IT architecture.
• Conduct regular assessments of ITSM solutions to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Guide the onboarding of business units into the ITSM solution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies including, but not limited to ITSM and incorporate them into the organization's strategy.
• Be  a leader in the analysis of the usage of ITSM with the business users and process owners within the customer organization to identify opportunities to simply and optimize how they use Open Text Service Management Automation
• Lead the adoption of the ITSM solution within the customer environment, providing awareness and training knowledge sessions to the process owners and users
• Lead the Open Text project team at the customer for the solution management and project implementation. Lead the design of the solution and transition of workloads to the team.
• Coach the Open Text project team while in delivery, be an example for the team as lead architect in terms of customer focus, quality of outcomes and consulting practices.
• Lead the team to delivery in accordance with Agile SAFE methodology, enable the ongoing transition from waterfall to Agile practices
• Support the Project Manager with project estimation and planning for ongoing delivery or new scope
• Lead the customer on expansion of the existing solution to achieve higher value outcomes through ongoing development of roadmaps focused on next step value and outcomes.

 

 

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience working as an ITSM Solution Architect or in a similar role.
• Solid proficiency in OpenText (previously HP, HPE, Microfocus) technology stack: Service Manager, Service Management Automation, Asset Manager, uCMDB, SMAX.
• Basic coding skills (preferably JavaScript)
• Dutch & English language fluency is required
• Experience working within the government sector is a plus
