Senior Design Engineer (m/w/d)

 

 Mission   We have a fantastic opportunity in our Design Engineer Team based in Neuwied, Germany. This is a challenging role in which you will be involved in sales support and active participation in the preparation of quotations & technical processing of commissioned projects.     Responsibilities     ● Sales support and active participation in the preparation of quotations & technical processing of commissioned projects:

• Technical design of control systems based on customer requirements
• Creation of 2D drawings and 3D models
• Creating the parts list analogous to the design and supporting the ordering process
• Processing of technical documents that complement the design
• Heat transfer calculation,
• Quality documentation
• Installation documentation

● Written and verbal communication with other design sites and the segment specialists segment specialists ● Participation in internal projects on standardization, methods and processes ● Technical management of smaller or more complex development projects (with 2-3 resource)   Requirements

• Degree with a focus on civil engineering or mechanical engineering or vocational training with
• corresponding further and advanced training as a technician
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D design programs such as Autodesk AutoCAD Inventor, PTC Creo or Dassault Solidworks
• Knowledge of the use of refractory building materials (e.g. bricks, refractory concretes, refractory materials for different types of furnaces) is a plus
• Good knowledge of English is very welcome due to the international project work
