About the role

Infleqtion (ColdQuanta/Super.tech) is a global quantum technology company solving the world’s most challenging problems. The company harnesses quantum mechanics to build and integrate quantum computers, sensors, and networks. From fundamental physics to leading edge commercial products, Infleqtion enables “quantum everywhere” through our ecosystem of devices and platforms.

Our team at Infleqtion is working to build a computer with capabilities never seen before. Our quantum computer, Hilbert, is made using cold trapped atoms, which are controlled by classical computers. This gives us amazing flexibility but also introduces operational complexity. Our team consists of experts in many areas, from optics to quantum physics, to software and embedded engineering.

Location

Infleqtion has 5 office locations, operating out of Boulder, CO; Madison, WI; Chicago, IL; London, UK; and Melbourne, AU. This position is a full-time, hybrid position which will be located in our Boulder, Colorado office.

Position Summary

As a Senior DevOps Engineer (SDE), you'll develop the platform underlying Hilbert's high-frequency control system, which shoots lasers, controls microwaves, and otherwise manipulates matter to create quantum effects. You'll work directly with software engineers and quantum physicists who are engineering on the very edge of what's physically possible and enable them to achieve rapid advances. You will have opportunities to contribute at every layer of the stack, from on-premise servers and embedded devices, to the production cloud environments.

Come join us if you thrive in an environment with quiet space to do deep technical work, with few right answers, where we rely on our cooperation, mutual support and learning to bring the promise of quantum computing into reality.
