Senior Software Solution Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Solution Architect to work closely with stakeholders, both business and software engineering, as well as internal and external customers, to provide technical guidance and design of robust software solutions

What You’ll Be Doing:
● Collaborate with the business teams on eCommerce applications, API framework, and B2B integrations, to identify, document, and prioritize business requirements and consolidate supporting business cases
● Prepare functional specifications for business software applications
● Serve as the subject matter expert for key software applications
● Interface with business partners and IT teams including internal and external consultants to ensure business requirements are met through proper system configuration and testing
● Follow regulatory and ISO 13485 requirements

What You’ll Bring to the Team:
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
● 5+ years of experience delivering commercial cloud-based software applications
● Self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to write clean maintainable code 
● Experience as a technical lead throughout the full software development lifecycle
● Expertise in a programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#
● Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL
● Experience with cloud-based development using AWS including Lambda applications
● Experience with Message Queuing frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
● Experience working with geographically dispersed software development teams
● Solid knowledge of modern software technologies and practices including microservices, CI/CD, and container-based technologies
● Solid knowledge of REST API development
● Ability to work in a fast paced, agile development environment
● Have familiarity with MES or LIMS systems

● Have familiarity with Business Applications such as Salesforce.com and SAP
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The base cash compensation for this California-based role is below. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for bonus, equity, and a generous benefits package. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate skill, experience, expertise, and location and may vary from the amount listed above.
