Position Overview & Job Responsibilities:
· Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
· Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation
· Develop detailed project plans to track progress
· Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
· Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards and assessing risks
· Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope and schedule to ensure that project requirements can be met
· Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to project work plan
· Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
· Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of
· Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project objectives
· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
Education and Work Experience:
· 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably in IT or software development environments
· Experience with Smartsheet (tool of record) and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) preferred
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
· Proficiency in project management tools, with a familiarity with Smartsheet and Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) preferred
· Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid approaches
· Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present project updates to leadership
· Ability to identify risks proactively and develop mitigation strategies
· Team-oriented with a collaborative and positive approach to working with others
· Strong time management and prioritization skills aligned with business needs
Typical Physical Demands:
· Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.
