<p>About the team</p>
<p> </p>
<p>Our Nuclear Department’s mission is to provide a broad range of need driven services and solutions to industrial control and process automation system users to enable them improving the operability of the assets.<br/>
This ranges from specific sensor solutions, conceptual control and automation enhancement, data handling, up to the operator interface. Simulators and tools, both commercial and in house developed, are used to test solutions. Your working field will be in the nuclear power generation.<br/>

<p>Our team assist nuclear operators in the daily operation of the plant through a wide range of expert services.<br/>
</p>
<p>Our solutions help nuclear operators to firmly address issues resulting from ageing and obsolescence.<br/>
<br/>
We develop and monitor related strategies and provide hands-on assistance to ensure the availability of required safety functions throughout the service life of the plant, taking into account changes that occur over time and with use.</p>

<p>What you’ll be doing<br/>
</p>
<p>Your responsibilities as Automation and control Engineer Nuclear</p>
<p>As Automation and control Engineer, within our process automation Department, specialized in improving control and process automation, you will be immersed in a range of diverse field related complex subjects and produce creative solutions. </p>
<p>More concretely, you will ensure that opportunities for improvements are defined, developed and implemented</p>
<p>Some examples of frequently requested services are: </p>
<p>• Control loop conceptual review and optimization </p>
<p>• Steam turbine controller check-up, supported by an in-house developed hardware-in-the-loop simulator </p>
<p>• Specific measuring campaigns like nuclear power plant enclosure tightness </p>
<p>• Effectively discuss ideas and conclusions to power plant management as well as power plant Operators<br/>

<p>• Have a civil or industrial engineer diploma that is specialized in process automation and control and 5 to 10 years of experience in the field</p>
<p>• Have good command in office applications and mathematics software (such as MATLAB) and you can program technical software.</p>
<p>• Have a project management culture</p>
<p>• Show flexibility and customer-orientation</p>
<p>• Cooperate closely with team members and customers</p>
<p>• Real interest in new technologies</p>
<p>• Communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French, with a good command in English</p>
