Senior Accountant - International and Dynamic Environment

Internal initiatives and strong cohesion between departments contribute to a pleasant and motivating working environment.</p><p>Missions / Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Oversee the full accounting scope, both general and analytical, across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance of financial data.</li><li>Record and follow up on day-to-day transactions (purchase and sales invoices, financial operations, and various accounting entries).</li><li>Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with Belgian tax regulations.</li><li>Actively participate in monthly and annual closings, including period-end entries and cut-off operations.</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper monitoring of customer and supplier balances.</li><li>Carry out account reconciliations and ensure consistency of accounting records.</li><li>Contribute to financial reporting and the preparation of dashboards for management.</li><li>Participate in the continuous improvement and optimisation of accounting processes and internal tools.</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and, when necessary, with external partners (accounting firms, auditors, etc.).</li></ul> <p>Profile Required</p><ol><li>Education<br> Degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent through experience.</li><li>Experience<br> Minimum 5 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment.</li><li>Technical skills<br> Strong command of accounting tools and Excel. Good knowledge of accounting closings and Belgian tax obligations. ERP knowledge is an asset.</li><li>Languages<br> Fluent in French and strong professional level of English, both written and spoken.</li><li>Personal qualities<br> Rigorous, autonomous, analytical mindset, and strong team spirit. You are also proactive and solution-oriented.</li></ol>
