JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

EPMO is responsible for identifying enterprise change across the business, enabling a first line of defense framework through which change execution risk is managed and ensuring business units have appropriate programs, tools and training in place to effectively implement change. The EPMO Business Change Consultant Program Manager will drive change management approach standardization across the organization, engaging with business units to foster the acquisition of change management skill and expertise at the program execution level and provide consultation on select, high priority and critical enterprise changes, as directed by EPMO and Corporate Strategy leadership.   

Change Toolkits and Training

  • Work across multiple business unit and functions to drive change management expertise and approach standardization, managing the interests of multiple business unit perspectives and stakeholder needs with varying opinions, perspectives and change management expertise
  • Perform an assessment of organizational change management capabilities, best practices and approaches being leveraged today; develop and maintain business change management toolkits and assets that augment those practices, establish common language, roles, responsibilities, artifacts and expectations for effective change management at Key
  • Work with functional resources to establish and maintain change management training programs, including role-based requirements, general audience education tracks and integration of third-party certifications, where needed
  • Work with EPMO counterparts and risk partners to align toolkits and training programs to the standards set forth in Key’s Enterprise Change Management Program
  • Build, maintain and drive traffic to a digital hub through which training assets, templates and content can be leveraged universally by business project/initiative managers, regardless of change complexity and oversight requirements
  • Establish targeted training achievement goals and provide periodic measures of progress to EPMO leadership and risk governance stakeholders

Business Unit Engagement

  • Drive change management expertise across the business, by coaching, training and enabling project/initiative leaders on best practices and tools that result in consistently well-managed and executed change initiatives
  • Partner with EPMO counterparts to ensure business leaders and project/initiative leads are aware of and leveraging available change management toolkits and training programs; drive an enterprise understanding of the linkages between effective change management, change execution risk management and business value attainment
  • Support the augmentation of enterprise change management expertise goals through individual project consulting, publication of best practices tools and through role-focused practitioner forums
  • Partner with existing change management teams to assess training and resource models given the volume and type of changes impacting individual business units; evolve training and toolkits accordingly
  • Promote the use of modern, data-driven change management techniques with business partners for impact analysis, readiness assessments, resistance planning, communication, adoption and value attainment measurement
  • Provide diagnostic consultation on select high priority and critical program/project/initiative leaders where project health status is in jeopardy
  • Provide change management support for select strategic enterprise changes, as directed by Director of Corporate Strategy

Third Parties

  • Assesses the need for and create annual business case/budgeting for third party change management vendors, including certification and training partners and SaaS providers
  • Act as engagement lead for approved third party vendor relationships including business leadership on procurement, renewal, budget, payables activity and timely compliance with third party risk management policies and governance requirements

Acts With Purpose for Measurable Program Outcomes

  • Leads the EPMO’s business change expertise program in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, which may include directing third party resources as well as virtual teams
  • Develops and grows partnerships and foster relationships with senior functional managers and their management teams to prioritize projects and set/ receive direction to achieve business and risk objectives
  • Defines and manages program scope, scope changes, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition that support the varying business goals and interests of multiple stakeholders
  • Develops an integrated program plan; identifies and manages prog
