Job Overview
Komatsu Underground Mining in Bentleyville, PA has an immediate opening for an entry-level International Operations Specialist I (IOS).
The IOS is responsible for supporting the fulfillment of orders to specific international customers by reviewing inventory in the warehouse. The position also deals with communicating with customers on promise dates for fulfillment and collaborating with international logistics to ship appropriately, based on demand type. The Specialist reviews reports and works with the warehouse team to ensure their customer orders are picked for shipping as needed. This is an on-site position located at the Global Distribution Center warehouse in Charleroi, PA.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Partner with international customers to review the weekly scheduled customer order warehouse picks planned to confirm if there are any needs to change, expedite, or cancel the planned orders scheduled to go out of the Global Distribution Center for assigned international customers
- Update part promise dates in SAP for customer visibility and planning by partnering with buyers for current information
- Act as liaison with customer and other departments, such as buyers, warehouse, international logistics, finance, trade compliance and engineering teams to resolve any open questions the customer may have to import in their respective country
- Run and review a weekly report in SAP to confirm customer orders are in process to depart the distribution center as planned
- Facilitate process returns, credit/debit memos, short ship issues to reach resolution for the international customer
Qualifications/Requirements
- 1 - 3 years International Import/Export experience or BS Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management or related field.
- 1 - 3 years of experience in customer service, international logistics, distribution, or trade compliance
- Ability to adapt to and work autonomously within a variety of situations
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills while working cooperatively with others as part of a high performance, dynamic team
