Position Overview:
As our Receiving Inspector, you will perform visual and dimensional inspection and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y 14.5.

On-site in Euclid, Ohio

 

Your Day to Day as a Receiving Inspector: 

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection and maintain accurate documentation on a variety of parts in accordance with ANSI Y 14.5.
• Assistance may be given other operators on proper operational procedures.
• Perform housekeeping and other job-related duties as assigned by foreman.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in inspection on precision hardware, completion of an accredited training program will be considered.
• Must apply basic math skills, read and interpret complex blueprints and Geometric symbols to identify inspection requirements, and select proper measuring devices.
• Set-up and use a variety of mechanical and electrical measuring devices.
• Visually and dimensionally inspect parts for conformance and take appropriate action to call out discrepancies.
• Preform necessary documentation to assure proper disposition of accepted and rejected parts.
• Maintain all paperwork including lab reports purchase orders, logbook, RTS records, etc.
• Be able to lift to 30 pounds and stand for long intervals for efficiency of operation and use mechanical aids (such as 2-wheel trucks and electric trucks) as required.
• Pass required vision examination.
• Meet all applicable visual/dimensional written and operational examinations.
• Possess necessary personal tools.
• Must be willing and available to work any shift (2nd shift: 3pm - 11pm, 3rd shift: 11pm - 7am).
