About the role

Job Overview:

The Sr. Analyst, Portfolio Strategy & Planning plays a critical role in shaping and communicating strategic priorities across the enterprise. This position supports the development of multi-year roadmaps, prepares executive-level materials for company leaders and the board, and provides insights that guide decision-making at the highest levels of the organization. The ideal candidate combines analytical rigor with exceptional communication and visualization skills to influence outcomes and drive alignment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead preparation of materials, conduct research, and gather input from stakeholders for quarterly MD Portfolio Reviews.

  • Support the evolution and communication of 3-year strategic roadmaps across the firm.

  • Conduct competitive and technology/product research to inform strategic planning.

  • Develop custom firm-level roadmap views tailored for executive presentations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment between corporate and business unit strategies.

  • Support Steering Committees (SteerCos) and portfolio reviews across the company.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience as a business consultant or internal strategy role working on strategic engagements, including analysis, research, and executive-level presentation development. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, Financial Analysis).

  • 2-3 years of experience owning senior level presentations with strong capabilities in storytelling and visualizing complex analysis to drive decisions.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related fields.

Core Competencies:

  • Executive-level presentation and storytelling skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence.

  • Strategic thinking and ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.

  • Experience with competitive and technology/product research.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and relationship-building capabilities.

  • Proactive self-starter that rapidly learns the industry, business and organizational preferences.

Preferences

  • Curiosity to solve complex problems in new ways.

  • Background in corporate or technology strategy within a financial services or consulting firm.

  • Familiarity with portfolio management or enterprise planning.


 

Pay Range:

$78,375-$130,625/year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
