Job Overview
While Mainspring is growing rapidly to scale production of its linear generators, quality is a crucial element to the success of our mission. This role is critical as we expand our fleet of deployed generators and we need to accelerate the pace of learning while keeping our customers happy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with the customer facing team which includes Operations & Maintenance, Deployment and Commissioning as your primary internal customer as well as our internal stakeholders such as our Design Engineering groups, Manufacturing and Operations
- Become an expert of every step of the process from End of Line Testing to shipping and then commissioning a unit for customer acceptance
- Identify opportunities for improvement across the entire process and drive implementation cross functionally
- Close every loop of information that brings value to the relevant stakeholders prioritizing execution on what is important and urgent over the rest
- Build, monitor and regularly share key performance metrics to influence decision making with the customer facing team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in a fast paced and high growth environment (industrial and/or automotive a plus)
- Knowledge and experience with implementing APQP, PPAP and Root Cause Analysis
- Six Sigma, Lean, or ASQ Certification and trainings are preferred
- The position will require up to 50% travel to customer sites
