The Sr. Salesforce Administrator, reporting to the Director of Engineering, will be at the forefront of this mission. Responsible for advanced customization, reporting, and collaboration with various departments, this role will bring our Salesforce utilization to new heights. Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
- Implement and maintain complex Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations to meet organizational needs.
- Manage user profiles, roles, permissions, and license assignments, ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Design and implement automated processes, workflows, and approval processes to eliminate redundant end-user tasks.
- Oversee data quality, integrity, and migrations, including regular audits, clean-up, and high-impact projects in database management.
- Engage with various departments, stakeholders, and senior leaders to analyze complex problem spaces, gather requirements, and design clear and effective solutions.
- Develop advanced reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support decision-making.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior admin(s) or other team members.
- Lead regular system maintenance, including updates, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Enforce and maintain compliance and security standards within the Salesforce environment.
- Lead and manage high-impact Salesforce projects, ensuring timely execution, alignment with business requirements, and leveraging the latest features and best practices.
- Monitor Salesforce releases and updates, ensuring the organization leverages the latest features and best practices.
Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Systems Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or in a similar role.
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification or other relevant certifications.
- Proven experience with complex Salesforce configurations, customizations, and integrations, including Sales and Service Cloud customization on the Lightning platform, and the ability to build custom apps, objects, formula fields, workflows, and processes of intermediate complexity.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, limitations, governance limits, reporting, and dashboard capabilities, with a passion for storytelling with data.
- Experience integrating and administering multiple third-party software applications and out-of-the-box integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with agile methodologies and working in a collaborative team environment.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, detail-oriented, and proactive, with hunger and eagerness to learn and grow within a start-up environment or similar.
- Time-management skills to balance multiple projects creatively, successfully, and on time.
- Commitment to continuous learning to stay abreast of the latest Salesforce developments and trends.
Here's the Pay Range:
At Apartment List, we carefully consider a variety of factors to determine compensation for each position, including the role, level, and work. The US base salary range for this position is ($120,000-$145,000) + bonus + equity, which reflects the compensation target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Please note, the compensation details reflect base salary only and do not include bonus, benefits, and perks that we offer.
