Senior SDET

We are looking for a motivated Senior Software Developer Engineer in Test who will collaborate with a product development team to work on highly configurable software employing agile development methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of automated test development and debugging experience in Java and Python
• Direct experience with scripting via bash, Python, PERL, JavaScript, or other scripting tools
• Knowledge of industry-standard test automation libraries and tools and experience developing test frameworks
• Competency in agile methodologies, continuous integration, and the full SDLC
• Exemplary written communication skills
• Adept in testing libraries such as TestNG, REST-assured, PyTest
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts such as – building and deploying models, accuracy, predictions, deep learning, training and testing datasets
• Proficiency in creating test strategy documents
• Demonstrated leadership, passion, and a desire to manage and lead high-performance teams

Nice to have

• ISTQB and/or Oracle Java Certifications
• Experience with AWS or Azure, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Spinnaker, Docker
• Background in building interactive web tools using open-source frameworks
• Understanding of industry-leading web platforms
• Skills in building and deploying micro-services

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the design and implementation of test automation, frameworks, and tools       
• Work as an individual developer to develop and enhance automated tests, for regression and feature testing, as well as framework libraries and new tools
• Review product requirements in close collaboration with product owners and development
• Contribute creative ideas to the testing methodologies
• Uplevel QA team maturity by contributing to automation code reviews, improving test frameworks, CI/CD, monitoring nightly tests, identifying automation test-code coverage gaps, and other SDLC process components
• Support internal customer ad-hoc requests using the pilot environment and proof-of-concepts
