Senior Service Specialist

This role will assist customers by identifying the best solution for their application, independently creating quotations for customers ensuring requests are handled at a high quality, accurately and on time. 

Handle quote to order end to end process for the Systems and Software division, collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to deliver excellent customer experience throughout all European locations. 

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

• Analyze customers RFQ (Request For Quote) for products and services proposals, raise and resolve any queries directly with the final customers or the Front Sales Offices.
• Prepare quotations for MRO (spare parts) and On-Off Services within the set target, the bill of materials and services in the estimation tool.  
• Check all Compliance, Checkpoint and Commercial data on purchase order according to European SYSS Standards. 
• Prepare the proposal document (technical and commercial) based on a specific template and bring up any queries to customer/relevant department.  
• Enter orders into order processing systems ensuring all data is checked and accurate. 
• Ensure that the factory items have been scheduled for shipping, internal orders are placed by the purchasing department, service requests are raised. 
• Take ownership for factory repair, other service issues and invoicing customers once orders are complete. 
• Liaise with Sales team to advise about the status or possible challenges regarding received quotes and orders.  
• Maintain all databases accurate and updated (SMS, JDI, CRM, OCM, SP, OSC etc).

For This Role, You Will Need: 

• Around 3-5 years of proven experience in a commercial or engineering environment (customer support, sales support, technical sales, application engineer)
• English language upper intermediate (written and spoken)  
• Computer Literate (MS Office)
• Good interpersonal and communication skills 

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Knowledge of a second European language 
• Knowledge and/or experience in using ERP/MRP systems
• Basic knowledge of Industry Processes or Process Control and Instrumentation
