Insurance Verification Coordinator (Oral Surgery)

Description

We are seeking a skilled and committed Insurance Verification Coordinator to join our team and assist us in delivering exceptional care to our patients. At Koslin & Kahn Oral and Facial Surgery, our core belief is putting the patient’s needs first, and it underlies every aspect of our practice. 

The ideal candidate for the Insurance Verification Specialist position should possess a natural inclination towards providing compassionate care. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Verifying patient insurance – both medical and dental.
• Verify authorization for MRI and CT scans.
• Accurately calculate surgery deposits and copays based on individual insurance.
• Document effective notes for each patient.
• Enjoy interacting with patients and working in a team environment.
• Focused on details and the ability to stay organized.

Requirements

• Medical billing and insurance experience is required. 
• Oral Surgery and/or Dental experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills 
• Must be detailed oriented, accurate, and reliable. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and collaboratively. 
• Follow protocols and guidelines as they relate to patient privacy (HIPAA/OSHA).
