Job Description

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.

• Provide insights into financial performance and trends, highlighting key areas for improvement or concern.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee the company's inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and control inventory levels.

• Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations and analyses.

Manufacturing Cost Accounting:

• Manage and review the accounting processes related to manufacturing costs.

• Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate and timely recording of production costs.

Auditing:

• Coordinate and support both internal and external audit processes.

• Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.

Fixed Asset Management:

• Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.

• Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconciliation.

• Ensure compliance with accounting policies related to fixed assets.

Research and Development (R&D):

• Support the accounting for R&D projects, including capitalization of costs and compliance with relevant accounting standards.

• Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses and capitalization of applicable costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting.

• Previous experience in inventory management, manufacturing cost accounting, auditing, and R&D.

• CPA qualification preferred or demonstrated progress towards CPA certification, such as passing some CPA exams.

• Netsuite experience preferred.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
