Job Description
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Provide insights into financial performance and trends, highlighting key areas for improvement or concern.
Inventory Management:
Oversee the company's inventory accounting processes, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor and control inventory levels.
Conduct periodic inventory reconciliations and analyses.
Manufacturing Cost Accounting:
Manage and review the accounting processes related to manufacturing costs.
Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure accurate and timely recording of production costs.
Auditing:
Coordinate and support both internal and external audit processes.
Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.
Fixed Asset Management:
Oversee the accounting for fixed assets, including acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
Conduct periodic physical asset verification and reconciliation.
Ensure compliance with accounting policies related to fixed assets.
Research and Development (R&D):
Support the accounting for R&D projects, including capitalization of costs and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of expenses and capitalization of applicable costs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting.
Previous experience in inventory management, manufacturing cost accounting, auditing, and R&D.
CPA qualification preferred or demonstrated progress towards CPA certification, such as passing some CPA exams.
Netsuite experience preferred.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
