Job Summary
As an Information System Security Manager (ISSM), you will have the opportunity to work with the latest advanced tools and technological developments in Cybersecurity. You will lead a collaborative team of talented professionals and help play a major role in defending critical Information Systems from potential threats and intrusions by our adversaries. Together, we'll address evolving threats to National Security, thus keeping our Nation and our Warfighter safe.
Successful candidates for this role will coordinate with the Leonardo DRS Corporate Risk Management Framework Support Center, Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), & other ISSMs across the company, to obtain and maintain certifications and accreditations under the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), and Intelligence Community (IC) Risk Management Framework. Job Responsibilities
- As the ISSM, you will be the driving force for obtaining an ATO (Authorization to Operate) and ATC (Authorization to Connect), to include administration and implementation of all required security tools and configurations
- Administer and implement security procedures for classified computer systems based on the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Energy (DoE) and other U.S. Government agency security requirements
- Architect, evaluate, and maintain various IT systems ranging from stand-alone laptops to complex Wide Area Networks
- Determine the viability of hardware and software to process and protect classified information
- Identify Cybersecurity vulnerabilities/attack vectors, and help develop/implement mitigation strategies with a team of talented ISSOs and cleared System Administrators
- Develop and maintain technical proficiency and industry certifications to maintain DoD 8570 compliance
- Apply current Computer Science technologies to the development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security for Classified Information Systems
- Serve as the primary advisor to the Site Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Senior Management Official (SMO) on all Classified Information System Security matters, and act as the primary liaison to the local Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Information Systems Security Professional (ISSP)
- Implement local Security policies, processes, procedures, audits, and help enforce compliance with all US Government requirements for Classified Information Systems
- Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the site FSO, site leadership and outside agencies on all Classified Information Systems Security matters; Partner with appropriate site functional representatives (e.g., Trade, Human Resources, Information Technology, etc) as appropriate
- Support the technical maintenance and configuration of a SIPRNet to maintain US Government compliance
- Review and approve requests for access to Classified Information Systems
- Conduct periodic self-inspections on local processes and practices to maintain NISP and DCSA compliance; Ensure all corrective actions are completed; Accurately report site’s Security posture to the SMO and Corporate Security Leadership
- Deliver Security Education and Training to all local users of the Classified Information Systems to fulfill all US Government requirements
- Implement all Corporate Security direction, policies, and procedures throughout the facility in support of the NISP, DCSA, and DRS Security requirements
