Position Summary

The Key Account Manager, Oncology is responsible for executing Cosette’s oncology commercial strategy within an assigned geographic territory. This field-based role develops and maintains strategic relationships with oncology healthcare providers, hospital systems, integrated delivery networks (IDNs), outpatient and infusion centers, pharmacists, and other key healthcare stakeholders to support appropriate product adoption and achieve territory performance objectives.

The Key Account Manager manages the territory through disciplined account planning, customer engagement, market analysis, and execution of approved brand strategies. This individual is responsible for developing trusted customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, communicating approved clinical and product information compliantly, and collaborating with internal partners to support access, product availability, and patient support initiatives.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong scientific and business acumen, the ability to navigate complex oncology care environments, disciplined territory management skills, and the ability to build productive relationships across community oncology practices, academic centers, hospital systems, and integrated healthcare networks.

Key Responsibilities

Territory & Commercial Execution

  • Achieve or exceed territory sales objectives and brand performance goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans that prioritize high-value accounts, growth opportunities, and customer needs.
  • Manage the territory through effective customer targeting, call planning, account prioritization, and performance analysis.
  • Analyze territory data, market trends, prescribing patterns, and competitive activity to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
  • Execute compliant promotional activities and communicate approved clinical, safety, and product information to healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver effective product presentations tailored to the clinical and business needs of individual stakeholders.
  • Manage territory resources responsibly, including approved promotional materials, speaker programs, educational initiatives, and assigned budgets.
  • Able to learn multiple products and services while continuing business momentum.

Key Account Management & Customer Engagement

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with oncology physicians, specialists, advanced practice providers, nurses, pharmacists, practice administrators, outpatient and infusion center leadership, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain relationships across community oncology practices, academic medical centers, hospital systems, and integrated delivery networks.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for priority customers, incorporating stakeholder mapping, account objectives, treatment pathways, access considerations, and growth opportunities.
  • Understand oncology practice workflows across markets / territories/ regions , patient treatment pathways, referral patterns, and account dynamics to identify opportunities for appropriate product utilization.
