At Kids in the Game, we're building a vibrant community of dedicated seasonal staff to rethink the way kids play. As a Summer Camp Assistant Director, you’ll help create unforgettable experiences for hundreds of NYC children and be part of a dynamic team of 250+ coaches.

WHAT WILL BE YOUR IMPACT AND EXPERIENCE AT CAMP:

• Contribute to the overall success of the camp by providing leadership and support to the summer staff.
• Make field trips special adventures. Create an immersive and inclusive environment through off site activities by empowering camp staff to best support our campers.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Kids in the Game is on the lookout for enthusiastic Assistant Directors at 9-10 dynamic summer camp locations. As the right hand to the Camp Director, you will play a pivotal role in creating an amazing camp culture. Our Assistant Directors will be overseeing summer staff, and providing inspiring leadership to our spirited campers. You will be creating an atmosphere that's not just supportive and safe but fun and exciting too! 

Our Admin Assistant Directors is responsible for being the Camp Directors director support for camp family communication, pre summer registrations and document collection, payments and invoices, and being the face of camp at drop off and pick up. You will be a vital part of the overall success of our camp family interactions and relationship building, plus all of our camp documents. Most importantly you will be providing a supportive, safe, and fun environment for the campers. As the Assistant Director in charge of Administration and Operations: They will report to the Camp Director and manage the camp’s operations and administration.
