We are seeking a talented, motivated Accounting Manager who wants to be part of this once-in-a-career opportunity drive category transformation. This is a rare opportunity to be a part of a 0-to-1 company and spearhead many aspects of our accounting function. What You’ll Do:
Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Aescape, working closely with the Head of Finance and outsourced accounting team
Perform preliminary reviews of reconciliations and supporting schedules for timely accounting close
Implement, operationalize, and monitor processes and procedures to meet month-end, quarter-end, and year-end timelines
Assist in the first financial audit, including drafting financial statements
Contribute to the selection and implementation of an ERP platform, transitioning from QuickBooks
Develop a framework for internal controls suitable for a growing enterprise
Generate entity-level statutory financial statements
Design and implement efficient purchase order processes/systems to optimize procurement
Interact and partner with logistics and supply chain for appropriate accounting treatment of inventory
Manage accounts payable and disbursements, supervise accounts receivables, and review reconciliations
Who You Are:
Possess 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, with a mix of private and public accounting preferred
Hold an active CPA license in good standing
Have experience in Manufacturing, inventory, and cost accounting
Demonstrate a proven track record in managing and developing direct reports
Experience with a Big 4 firm and/or SEC-registered company is preferred
Highly organized, meticulous self-starter able to work independently and within a team
Proficient in Excel for analyzing and manipulating large datasets
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines
Industry experience in SaaS-based technology companies, retail, or consumer products is a plus
Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, problem-solving, and solutions development
Strong understanding of internal controls and a dynamic candidate who demonstrates initiative and flexibility.

Competitive pay + equity plan, the salary range for the role is $140,000 - $160,000 plus bonus + equity
