About the role 

We are seeking a seasoned ROC Manager to lead and optimize our outage response operations across the infrastructure network. This role is responsible for strategic oversight of outage detection, resolution, and prevention, while managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with field leadership to drive operational excellence and minimize service disruptions.

Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Outage Management
  • Develop and implement outage response strategies and escalation protocols.
  • Oversee outage detection systems and ensure timely identification and classification of incidents.
  • Lead post-incident reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Manage and mentor a team of outage supervisors and agents.
  • Set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and foster a culture of accountability and responsiveness.
  • Ensure adequate staffing and training for 24/7 outage coverage.
• Field & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with field operations leaders to coordinate rapid response and resource deployment.
  • Liaise with operation and safety teams to align outage response with broader infrastructure goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for major outage events and stakeholder communications.
• Reporting & Analytics
  • Monitor outage trends and performance metrics to identify systemic issues.
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations for infrastructure resilience.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications: 

• 5+ years of experience in network operations, infrastructure management, or outage coordination.
• 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency with outage monitoring systems, data analytics, and incident management platforms.
