Job Details:

General Notes

This position is part-time, with an expected commitment of 4–8 hours per week. Specific scheduling may be flexible based on availability and department needs.

Purpose

To provide audiology services and supervise audiology graduate students in the UT Speech and Hearing Center.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise audiology graduate students in UT Speech and Hearing Center 

  • Conduct audiologic evaluations/treatment, and provide appropriate recommendations

  • Provide amplification selection and fittings

  • See clients independently when students are not present

  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold university and HIPAA standards

  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and client care

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) 

  • Active Texas Audiology License

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clinical experience

  • Bilingual Spanish

  • Prior experience supervising students

Salary Range

$50/hr + depending on qualifications
