Job Description

Publicis Sapient is looking for a QA Automation Engineer to be part of our team of top-notch technologists. You will be responsible for planning, managing, maintaining, coordinating, and executing the test scripts for complex, multi-tier applications.

Responsibilities:

• Work with applications designed/ developed with Java and Web Services
• Prepare test plan documents and write test procedures
• Designs, develops, tests, maintains, and executes scripts across different test environments for consistency. Ability to execute test cases manually (if needed) based on business requirements.
• Debug Test Automation Scripts (Cucumber BDD, Java skills) and upgrade Test automation frameworks based on project/ Test needs
• Work with requirements teams to define test cases and maintain traceability
• Report defects and escalate issues as needed
• Work closely with software development team to reproduce and debug issues.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• ***Application open to ONLY U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents***
• ***Must be eligible to obtain U.S. Government Clearance (Public Trust)***
• 2 to 3 years exp with quality assurance, Test Automation, and API Testing.
• Exp with test automation tools (Selenium, Rest Assured, API Testing, Database Queries using Java, Cucumber, BDD
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and exp working in Agile / iterative SDLC environments
• Exp in Agile In sprint automation using Selenium/ Java/ BDD is preferred
• Ability to excel in a team-oriented environment.
• Able to work independently and in a fast paced environment
• Adheres to development standards, software development lifecycle processes
• Constantly seeks ways to improve processes for increased agility and quality
• Bachelor’s Degree required from College or University

Additional Information

Annual Pay Range: 70,000 - 90,000 USD

The range shown represents a grouping of relevant ranges currently in use at Publicis Sapient. The actual range for this position may differ, depending on location and the specific skillset required for the work.
