Coalfire's Cloud Managed Services (CMS) allows organizations to take full advantage of strategic sourcing of their cloud workloads that reside within highly regulated environments and allow Coalfire to deliver operational excellence. Coalfire's CMS enables organizations to reduce costs and operational burdens and enable organization to truly focus on their business without the burdens of managing infrastructure. Coalfire CMS will continue to address complex regulatory compliance, such as FedRAMP, while providing out world-class capabilities to address the needs of the Enterprise. Coalfire is searching for a Director who will collaborate and further our capabilities within managed services and will have the ability to make sound decisions after carefully gathering and evaluating the facts. The Director is an objectives-driven, hands-on leader who is detail-oriented, time and cost-conscious, and a talented innovator. This role will require an expert-level understanding of managed service organization market, expectations, maturity, and delivery of services for clients. The Director will also have a strong acumen of the practices driving to achieve or exceed their recurring revenue, bookings, margin targets. The Director will work to recruit, develop, and retain elite talent and maintain a value-oriented culture. The role will require intuition to recognize and direct the varying elements of project and personnel demands that drive a successful cloud and security company forward.

What You'll Do


  • Practice Development
  •        Manage team, responsible for talent decisions regarding performance management, compensation and hiring
  •        Collaborate across the organization to define and develop offerings
  •        Bring creativity and knowledge domains to be successful in the development of service offerings
  •        Develop, measure, and monitor success criteria and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  •        Contribute to thought leadership and marketing efforts
  •        Provide sales support and scoping

  • Team Leadership
  •        Provide mentorship and coaching to team members
  •        Responsible for building a world-class team for managed services
  •        Provide mentorship and coaching to team members
  •        Manage the team to achieve bookings targets and successful delivery to our clients
  •        Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
  • Technical Presales
  •        Be knowledgeable with hyperscale public Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  •        Continuous professional development in maintaining industry specific certifications
  •        Maintain strong depth of technical knowledge
  •        Support scoping and selling follow-on and new service opportunities
  • Customer Success
  •        Customer obsession and focus on client satisfaction and renewals
  •        Assist and provide expert on-boarding and operational standard methodologies
  •        Manage escalations of client engagements, ensuring delivery of quality products and services

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years direct managed services experience or industry experience in cloud or Cybersecurity
  • Proven history of growing managed services, supporting adoption, and ensuring retention
  • Experienced in cloud strategy, adoption, and operations within AWS, Azure, and GCP
  • Experience managing financial aspects of services delivery such as recurring revenue, bookings, cost and margin
  • Confirmed ability to drive continuous value internally and externally
  • You will be a strong teammate, but still a self-starter
  • Thrive in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly while still having the ability to focus on details and be analytical
  • Exceptional technical and problem-solving skills coupled with the ability to provide quick resolution to problems
  • Possess exceptional verbal, written, social, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
