  Advertised Salary: $10.33- $12.00   Summary of Position: Assists in all retail services including: retail shop operation, sales, and events as needed. This position will work independently in the retail area for a majority of scheduled time.   Position Requirements: - Must be able to pass the employment background check
- Preferred customer service experience   Essential Duties/Responsibilities: - Answer phone calls and emails.
- Ensure all guests feel welcome when visiting the retail space and KCAD.
- Deliver an exceptional customer service experience to all guests.
- Assist in customer support and issue resolution.
- Opening and closing procedures.
- Maintain retail shop and storage areas by cleaning, organizing and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Manage returns of merchandise.
- Coffee pot preparation/maintenance.
- Operate and assist in maintaining Point of Sales (POS) system.
- Stay up to date with new products/services/discounts/special offers and relay information to customers when applicable.
- Serve as a shop and student ambassador for touring student groups.
- Assist during events as needed including special events and educational programming.
- Assist retail leadership team with administrative tasks as needed (data entry, distributing flyers, folding collateral etc.).
- Packaging merchandise to be shipped out.
