About the role

Our Chief Administrative Office (CAO) Finance and Business Management organization is responsible for capital and expense planning, balance sheet forecasting and performance reporting and analytics for the CAO, which includes global functions like Real Estate, Dining & Conferencing Services, Aviation, Document Services, Corporate Insurance and Operational Sustainability. As a part of this team, you will gain unique perspective into the macro strategy of the firm. We provide financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders, helping to promote key initiatives and make decisions on their workforce and location planning. 

As a Finance Business Manager in the CAO, you will support the CFO of the CAO and Global Real Estate, and will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and analytics across the groups. This role involves conducting thorough data analyses, leading and executing a range of adhoc projects, preparing materials and reporting for senior audiences, and improving processes to enhance team efficiency. You will collaborate with senior leaders to support various strategic initiatives and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. 

This is a time-pressured and high-profile position which is instrumental in assisting/advising senior management and coordinating the deployment of the bank’s corporate resources to address strategic and tactical objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Quickly grasp business context, and distill complex problems into clear narratives and impactful executive-ready presentations, with a strong focus on data visualization and storytelling
  • Conduct thorough quantitative and logical analyses to support business decisions, process improvements, and strategic planning
  • Prepare routine and adhoc business management reporting, and succinctly communicate findings to senior management
  • Independently manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritize effectively, and adapt to evolving priorities and business needs

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • 4+ years experience in financial services, business management, corporate strategy, or a related area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive insights and decisions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute methodically
  • Self-motivated, tenacious, and able to work with a high degree of independence
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with attention to detail with logical thought processes
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), LLM prompting, and other relevant tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Python, Databricks, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Experience in real estate or corporate services industries a plus
