Department Overview
The CHH2 Adult Ambulatory Oncology Infusion Clinic at OHSU primarily serves patients within Hematology Oncology, Medical Oncology and Classical Hematology. We collaborate with KCI Ambulatory Oncology Clinics, Dietitians, Pharmacy, Social Work, Case Management and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to provide exceptional oncology care for our patients and community. Our teams support programs that include, but are not limited to, the Hepatic Arterial Infusion Pump program, Phase I Clinical Trials, and the OHSU Cellular therapy programs. Patient Populations: Hematologic Malignancies: Leukemia, Lymphoma, Myeloma, Allogeneic/ Autologous Transplant, CAR-T, TIL, DLI, etc. Medical Oncology: Sarcoma, Head and Neck, Breast, Lung, GI/GU, Prostate, etc. Classical Hematology: Bleeding disorders, clotting disorders, anemias, white blood cell disorders, platelet disorders. Other: Our infusion unit serves a variety of populations requiring interventional treatments only available at the CHH2 Ambulatory Oncology Outpatient Infusion Unit.
Function/Duties of Position
The Oncology Infusion Services Nurse Manager will be responsible for managerial and supervisory functions of infusion nurses at the Center for Health and Healing. Position will function primarily on day shift hours with weekend coverage in collaboration with the Nurse Management team. The Nurse Manager will partner with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure effective delivery of quality clinical patient care and compliance with administrative and clinical policies and procedures. This position will support staff RNs through daily operations of patient care delivery. In addition this position will perform managerial activities including hiring, performance evaluations, employee mentoring, project management and roll out of quality and safety initiatives, ensure adherence to hospital and clinical standards of performance, and human resource management.

- Systematically evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and nursing services, analyzing appropriate internal and external data and information to identify opportunities, for improving services and patient outcomes.
