Immuta seeks a Workplace Experience and People Team Generalist to join our College Park, Maryland, team to help drive that effort. This hybrid role requires your presence in our College Park office three to four days a week. This role includes supporting our employees, creating an environment where people of all backgrounds can thrive, fostering company culture, curating an engaged workplace, and responding to various on-site requests. In this role, you will anticipate and tackle challenges before they arise, making it easier for individuals to perform the work they were hired to do - creating a destination for innovation and collaboration.
Reporting to the Sr. Director People: this is an exciting and varied role within the People Team, focusing on supporting the employee experience in our College Park, Maryland office location.

People Team Responsibilities:

  • Act as an advocate and resource for Immuta employees
  • Educate employees on HR policies and procedures, as well as counsel employees concerning work-related matters
  • Create and collaborate with fellow People and Workplace team members to design and implement Immuta employee processes and create Immuta experiences
  • Support the onboarding of new Immuta employees in collaboration with Talent Acquisition, including, but not limited to, processing background checks and I-9/e-Verify submissions
  • Support the offboarding process in partnership with People Team members and Finance team
  • Perform updates to employee records in our HRIS system, including but not limited to reporting and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and audit employee-level data
  • Ensure that all employee-related documents are fully executed and retained 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to schedule phone and virtual interview experiences for candidates

Workplace Experience Responsibilities:

  • Greet visitors, sign for deliveries, and ensure general security compliance
  • Maintain the ordering and support of office materials
  • Coordinate company catering orders
  • Onsite Management of internal events
  • Support other workplace experience programs & events as required
  • Coordinate with building management & facility maintenance personnel to ensure a safe working environment 
  • Manage on-site parking and permitting with local vendor(s)
  • Coordinate with building management for building access cards and with IT Services for office door passes

Who You Are:

  • 1-3 years of experience supporting traditional HR-related duties, preferably in a hyper-growth organization
  • Willing to be present in our College Park, Maryland office 3-4 days a week
  • Have previous experience with Human Resource Informat
