Education/Experience:
- Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Biological, Chemical or Physical Sciences.
- Three years' experience in a Clinical Lab preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration:
- Medical Technologist (ASCP) or equivalent certification preferred.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in the technical operations of the laboratory section.
- Assists in the efficient and effective supervision of the laboratory section.
- Assists in providing timely responses to management directives according to departmental practice.
- Assists in assuring maximum care in safety and identification procedures involving patients, samples and laboratory working condit
