Role Summary/Purpose:

This VP Consumer Bank Customer & Product Analytics role will be responsible for uncovering the signals hidden within customer behaviors and translating them into actionable insights.  By analyzing the end-to-end customer journey, s/he will identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and drive growth.

You will play a pivotal role in shaping our product analytics strategy, influencing decision makers in cross-functional teams, (re)defining key metrics of success, building data-driven narratives on growth opportunities, and sizing outcomes.Our Product, Marketing, and Digital Strategy partners are eager to hear the insights this role helps produces.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross functional teams to integrate transactional, servicing, acquisition, demographic, native app and website analytics data, ensuring data consistency and integrity, and creating a holistic view of the customer’s experience and interactions

  • Analyze end to end customer behavior to understand how customers interact with the bank’s products, services, and digital assets

  • Build customer segments based on engagement patterns, behaviors and lifecycle stages

  • Help lead the creation of a unified data strategy that consolidates customer data from disparate sources, ensuring the data is centralized in a way that allows for seamless analysis and reporting while proactively understanding, identifying and addressing data quality and accessibility issues 

  • Establish KPIs for the customer journey and monitor progress over time

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree OR, in lieu of a degree, High School Diploma/GED and a minimum 9+ years of data analytics experience

  • 7+ years of progressive work experience to include:

  • 3+ years of experience in customer and journey analytics

  • 3+ years actively using data analysis and visualization tools including SQL, SAS, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics

Desired Characteristics:

  • Advanced experience with SQL and Python, as well as database technologies (e.g. relational and non-relational databases, data lake and warehouse).

  • Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools.

  • Experience in consumer banking, financial services, and/or credit card industry preferred

  • Passionate about working with, analyzing, and creating data sets

  • A keen eye for identifying inconsistencies and ensuring high quality data

  • Curious with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems

  • The ability to synthesize data into actionable insights across all levels of stakeholders (business, technical, and executives)

  • A self-starter who can drive change and influence stakeholders

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is 130,000.00 - 210,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Actual compensation offered within the posted salary range will be based upon work experience, skill level or knowledge.

Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro and Seattle.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • You must be 18 years or older

  • You must have a high school diploma or equivalent

  • You must be willing to take a drug test, submit to a background investigation and submit fingerprints as part of the onboarding process

  • You must be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • New hires (Level 4-7) must have 9 months of continuous service with the company before they are eligible to post on other roles.  Once this new hire time in position requirement is met, the associate will have a minimum 6 months’ time in position before they can post for future non-exempt roles.  Employees, level 8 or greater, must have at least 18 months’ time in position before they can post.  All int
