Description:

Position Purpose: 

Performs receptionist and general clerical duties for Radiology. Adheres to MercyOne’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.

What you will Do: 

Greets and schedules patients in accordance with department and modality specific policy.

Coordinates patient access.

Coordinates, maintains, updates, and checks-out files, records and data.

Communication duties for interdepartmental and patient needs

Maintains office supplies, equipment and materials.

Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures.

Hours/Schedule:  

Full Time, 40 Hours Per Week

Minimum Qualifications:  

One-year post-secondary education in Medical Secretary program, or equivalent medical clerical experience. Intermediate language, basic math, intermediate reasoning ability.

Personal computer. Keyboarding and data entry skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Medical terminology.
