District Structures Maintenance Engineer/ District Seven/ Director of Trans Operations/ District Maintenance

 

This position will be managing and overseeing Bridge Operations for District One and District Seven.

Anticipated By-weekly Salary:

$ 5,462.29

 

Your Specific Responsibilities:

Develops the State's Bridge and Ancillary Structure Replacement, Rehabilitation and Repair programs for District One and Seven. Directs and oversees the usage of bridge related work program funds. Ensures all repair and rehabilitation designs are prepared using accepted engineering practices and the associated budgets are allocated. Manages and oversees the inspection program of traffic signals mast arms (TSMA) and high mast light poles (HMLP) and ensures they meet state compliance. Manages and oversees the unknown foundation program, scour modeling vulnerability, studies of soils and scour protection to prevent soil erosion. Drives State vehicles to respective meeting sites, field inspections and related activities.

 

Directs and oversees the management of the Bridge and Ancillary Structures Inspection Program in accordance with State and federal requirements for District One and Seven. Reviews existing program procedures, assists in statewide development of these programs, recommends to management areas of enhancement and/or implements
