Lead Software Engineer - Java

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer for Commercial Banking Digital to work on the PXPO/Putil applications.  They will be working and supporting STRATEGY, DIGITAL, AND INNOVATION product managers. The new engineer with be working on authentication, performance, enterprise events, OCP migration, AVI migration, dashboard modernization, vulnerabilities, BAU PXPO/Putil effort, release management, production deployments and training of junior resources. These items are very important to keep a PAA/DCAM application running smoothly. 

In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• Eperience with software language Java
• Experience with Junit test cases and writing
• Experience with Microservices development and implementation
• Experience with Performance Testing and documenting/analyzing the results
• Experience with Splunk and writing splunk logging for applications
• Experience with Jenkins deployment pipelines
• Experience with SOAP and REST web services
• Experience with GraphQL development
• Experience with Mongo DB troubleshooting and design
• Experience with REACT design and implementation
• Experience with Cloud based applications and implementation

Job Expectations:

• This position offers a hybrid work schedule. 3 days in office every week currently
• Relocation assistance is not available for this position

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$119,000.00 - $224,000.00
