SUMMARY:
The Commercial Lines Trainer, in conjunction Co-Trainer, is responsible for training new employees and supporting the continuous education of existing employees on HUB’s workflows and procedures using Applied Epic and CSR24 management systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitating the onboarding all new Commercial Lines Employees on their first day
- Introduction to their teams/units
- Introduce and familiarize new hire with Key Regional Personnel (i.e. President, Practice Leader, Operations Director, Technology Leader, etc.)
- Introduction to Computer Systems and some settings configurations in various programs
- Navigation and Onboarding Support to ensure employee completes all Day 1 Requirements
- Travel may be required where reasonable
- Develop customized training agenda based on assessment of the employees existing knowledge and capabilities, using regional workflows and HUB approved online curriculums
- Communicate new employee goals, timeline, and expectations to Management and Team Leads
- Provide comprehensive training of all HUB Policies, Procedures, Broker Standards, and EPIC workflows for new employees during their first 90-days or until training completion
- Provide regular updates to Management and Team Leads during the new hire probationary period
- Use existing file system to maintain training checklists and document new hire files daily with all communications
- Update training materials & SOP’s to include changes and new features, upgrades, and functionalities as they occur
- Generate activity reports from EPIC and provide feedback for all new hires and upon request from management
- Assist in enrolling, tracking and reviewing new CSR training in TotalCSR
- Distribute and provide additional training and development opportunities in conjunction with the HUB Learning & Development Team (The Institutes, WebCE, The National Alliance, Total CSR)
- Host Virtual Trainings Regularly on various topics – i.e. EPIC; Broker Standards, and Procedures that affect the P&C Teams
- Provide training as needed for all employees upon request and during Performance Improvement Plans
- Provide support to employee daily questions & issues regarding EPIC
- Coordinate with other Operations Team Members regarding employee login requests, EPIC Access Request, and EPIC and Power BI Reports
- Participate in the Change Champion Collective Calls to stay abreast of upcoming changes throughout the organization and communicate key dates, training modules, and Sharepoint sites to all employees
- Stay abreast of all new programs, improvements, and classes offered by the TechOps Learning & Change Team as well as the Learning & Development Team
- Backup teams/units servicing staff when necessary
- Provide assistance to Central Billing Unit and Operations Team as necessary
- Assist in completing the Annual Corporate Audit for our Region
