The Talent Acquisition Supervisor leads our talent acquisition team and provides strategic leadership and oversight in the programming of our summer staff and intern programs. This role demands strong relationship-building skills, as the team collaborates with every department at Ridgecrest Conference Center.


This position is primarily onsite however, it will have some hybrid flexibility.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Leads a team of three specialists responsible for support staff programs, volunteers and team member recruitment.
  • Manages and oversees the full cycle of recruitment of our intern, summer staff, and front-line team member recruitment.
  • Implements and oversees talent programs and programmed events for summer staff, intern, and volunteer programs.
  • Oversees facilitation of on-boarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires
  • Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Director.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Previous leadership experience or Human Resources administration. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience in employee relations and performance management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Position requires working on a computer for an extended time involving visual review of documents and forms.
  • Extended periods of sitting, working on a computer, and viewing screens.
  • Occasional travel required (less than 5% of role).
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and bend, stoop, and twist multiple times a day
