The work location is flexible and can be discussed. Preferable locations: Germany, Belgium or the Netherlands.</p><p></p><p>In this role you will provide interpretation and consulting services to the businesses, assistance to clients in completing regulatory submittals and reporting requirements, driving a portion of the business regulatory strategy etc. in the EMEAI. In addition, you will represent Dow in Trade Associations and potentially lead external networks within the value chain &amp; authorities for advocacy.</p><p></p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul></ul><ul><li>Assessment of the regulatory compliance of our products with assigned regulations and writing of compliance documents</li><li>Perform safety assessments and provide guidance on regulatory interpretations</li><li>File petitions at authorities and provide support at certification bodies</li><li>Tracking and assessing the impact of regulatory developments and communicate these to relevant businesses</li><li>Develop and deliver trainings on European food and drinking water contact regulations</li><li>Participate in internal cross-functional projects and issue management teams to provide regulatory support and guidance</li><li>Participate in relevant trade group committees and task forces to track regulatory developments and engage in advocacy activities at regulators</li><li>Drive and lead advocacy efforts externally and internally for high impact issues identified by the businesses and/or corporate EH&amp;S teams</li><li>Support the Global Regulatory Services team in defining business/corporate strategy and sustainability goals using in-depth regional regulatory knowledge</li><li>Participate in integrated EH&amp;S audits</li></ul><p></p><p>Qualifications: </p><ul></ul><ul><li>Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field, preferably a Science degree</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant regulatory experience</li><li>Regulatory experiences in Food &amp; Drinking Water contact applications</li><li>Regulatory experiences in Pharmaceutical or Food/Feed Additives is a plus</li><li>Fluency in English and preferably German, Dutch or French</li></ul><p></p><p>Skills, knowledge, and abilities:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate skills to bring regulatory requirements to business needs</li><li>Ability to work in a globally diverse team and lead cross-functionality in a team-oriented project environment</li><li>Analytical skills combined with detail orientation</li><li>Demonstrated ability to exhibit mature technical skills, communication skills, IT skills and good judgment.
