Palo Alto Networks is seeking a visionary Senior AI & SAP Engineer to join our Enterprise Applications team. This is not a typical developer role. We're looking for a pioneer who will not only build intelligent AI agents to automate our core business functions but will also revolutionize our SAP development lifecycle. You will embed AI into how we analyze code, accelerate testing, and deploy solutions, fundamentally transforming how we deliver value to the business.

In this role, you will collaborate with architects and Business Systems Analysts (BSAs) to translate business requirements into technical reality, owning the design and development of our next-generation solutions on SAP S/4HANA.

Your Impact

• Design & Architect AI Solutions: Lead the design and development of intelligent AI agents to automate and optimize processes within our core SAP modules, including Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Materials Management (MM), and Revenue.

• Lead SAP Development: Own the technical design and implementation of RICEW objects, custom integrations, and extensions using ABAP, BAPIs, BADIs, and modern APIs. You will ensure our solutions are scalable, resilient, and built on industry best practices.

• Drive Engineering Excellence: Champion the optimization of our software delivery practices, bringing greater agility and efficiency to the development process for continuous product delivery.

• Collaborate & Influence: Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, BSAs, and technical colleagues to create consensus and a clear strategic vision. You will mentor junior engineers and serve as a subject matter expert.

• Ensure System Integrity: Monitor system performance, proactively resolve issues, and conduct regular data quality audits to ensure the stability and reliability of our SAP environment.

Qualifications

Your Experience

• 8+ years of total experience with a mandatory BE/B.Tech degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience.

• 6+ years of deep, hands-on experience developing scalable, resilient systems on the SAP S/4HANA platform.

• Proven track record of delivering multiple end-to-end projects in SAP SD and SAP FI, with a strong functional understanding of O2C and R2R processes.

• Experience in a multi-stack integration landscape using tools like Snaplogic, SAP PI, and REST APIs.

• Demonstrated expertise in the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

AI & Technical Proficiencies

• Practical experience applying AI/ML models to solve real-world business problems.
